How does it work?
The UPS EF6012 powers the router and charges the battery simultaneously, and in the absence of AC 220 V, it switches to the battery power. The reserve time depends on the capacity, for example a 12 V 20 Ah battery will provide more than 3 hours of reserve power for the CCR2004-1G-12S+2XS.
Is it safe?
In telecom equipment with 12 V power, voltage controllers on the board have an input range from 10 V to 15 V, electrolytes are set to 16 V, while the output voltage of the UPS when a battery is charged has up to 13.8 V, which is within the permissible limits. What is required to install a UPS?
No need to drill or cut anything. We took care of everything.

- UPS EF6012 - 1 pc;
- Cable for battery with F2 terminals (BAT-CAB-1M-T6) or bolt M6 terminals (BAT-CAB-1M-D6) - 1 pc;
- Адаптер ADAPT-NX4-MF4-WHITE - 1 pc;
- Socket 220 V with a cutout for the battery cable (ADAPT-AC-MIKROTIK) - 1 pc;
- Battery 12 V - 1 pc.
Screwdriver and 20 minutes of free time.
Installation sequence:
- Unscrew the bolts, remove the cover and take out the native power supply.
- EF6012 fits perfectly, replacing stock power supply: mounting holes and jacks match.
- Connect the adapter and the battery cable to the appropriate connectors.
- Carefully remove the 220 V connector and replace it with ours (with a cutout for the battery cable outlet).
Important! - before installing a new connector is required to lead the battery cable out through the hole, and then insert the connector itself.
If necessary, the original power supply and connector can be put back in place.
